Recently deployed VPS Platforms to be restarted after midnight on night of Friday, June 14th

Following our recent VPS hosting platform upgrades, a kernel fault has emerged which requires those upgraded platforms to be restarted, and this will be done after midnight on the night of Friday June 14th.

Accordingly, customers on serv02, serv05, serv06 & serv07 will have their VPS cleanly shutdown by us, then restarted after the platform reboots, with only 5-15 mins downtime expected, with this work to be done by Network Presence between midnight and 6am early in the morning of Saturday, June 15th.

I’ll be personally contactable by phone & online during and after these works incase there’s any issues that arise.

All works that evening will be completed by 6am on Saturday, June 15th 2013 Sydney/Australia time, and importantly our Engineers will be staying on-site at this Sydney Data Centre during the day hours of Saturday, to quickly attend to any issues which may arise following the platform restarts.

FYI and regards,
Richard.
