We’re used to customers needing to “scale, TODAY!” and as such we have ‘cold spares’ server capapabilities and capacity available to Network Presence customers who may need (say) 20 CPUs and 40GB of RAM with many hundreds of GB or a few TB of Data stored and online.

Today this meant that when a wholesale hosting customer found out that one of their customers had spent $’000s today on SEM, we had analysed their load requirements and started deploying more hardware resources for their site(s) within 3 hours. We’d scaled that exercise twice more in the afternoon and we had all their load responding very quickly within 6 hours, from “whoa to go”, or from a single 2GB and 2 CPU cPanel VPS to 4 x VPS providing Load Balancing (Load Balance managed Appliance VPS), a customised managed MySQL Appliance and 2 x cPanel “PHP Engine” VPS, using the resources mentioned above being over 20 CPUs and 40GB of RAM with many 00s of GB of disk space across those 4 x custom VPS!

We’ll have specific hardware online for this customer within 48 hours, securing all their resources needed for more marketing of their customer’s sites, but this is “what we do” for our customers when they need it. It’s like having your own massive Amazon EC2/AWS Cloud available, but better because we can do all the system setup and scaling work for you within hours, without you needing your own Software / Server Architect or such to tell you what you need, so we can respond to your end-user sudden load far quicker than you may be able to yourself, even if you use instantaneous AWS hosting capacity, even if it’s hosted in the continental US for best pricing..
