Free VPN with your VPS at Network Presence

Along with a number of product refreshes and new products we’re rolling out from June this year, we’re pleased to announce that all existing and new VPS customers going forward will be offered a free VPN with their Network Presence VPS.

The exact characteristics of this free/included VPN service are still being determined, but the two options we’re considering (both of which may well be available at launch in early June 2015) are:

a) VPN separate to your VPS, with a small monthly data usage quota (separate/in addition to the data quota of your VPS itself) and a modest over-quota usage fee, on a shared/general Pool of IP Addresses different to the IP Address of your VPS, provisioned on a specific high-power VPN Server of Network Presence in Sydney (or in our soon to be operational new Los Angeles/USA POP).

And/or;

b) An ability to easily install and run your own VPS Server in your VPS itself, via a custom in-house Software Package that you install to your VPS, no matter what flavour or distribution of Linux you’re running on your VPS. Where the network data quota of your use of the VPN on your VPS itself is part of the usage of your VPS own monthly data quota, and the IP address of your VPN usage would be that of your VPS itself.

In either case we’ll provide you with help to setup your end-user VPN devices or equipment (eg: mobile devices or home or office equipment and modems/routers etc) and where option (a) listed above is deployed, you’ll be able to see your VPN data usage through our existing Usage/State web-based interface, just like you can for your VPS itself.

This “Free VPN” or a VPN included with your VPS service will be available from early June 2015 for all Network Presence VPS customers and multiple VPN connections/logins will be available for purchase on our website’s store should more than one VPN be required at any time.

FYI and I’ll update this post with more details as the expected launch/availability date in early June 2015 comes to pass.

More details updated in mid June 2015 are that customers can request one of these Free VPN with their VPS services via a link on our new/soon to be released Online Shop site at https://shop.networkpresence.com.au and specifically for the Free VPN Add-on, see https://shop.networkpresence.com.au/cart.php?gid=1 to start your order (no payment req’d) by entering your VPN Username.
After you place your order, we validate it and activate it if possible. Please standby for email based contact from us following up on any Free VPN product order.

Regards,
Richard.
