We’ve added to our Virtualisation product range by bringing online recently our first KVM-based VPS Hosting Platform in Sydney, with another being built & expected online in October.
This will add to our existing cluster of Xen-based VPS Hosting Platforms & allow Network Presence customers to choose or specify their preference of virtualisation technologies for their VPS or VDS.
During our signup process, we’ll now ask you about any preference for KVM, so this upgrade in our available virtualisation technologies is transparent to existing customers & operations.
One of the first of our KVM based Hosting Platforms has been upgraded with the installation of SSD based Hard Drives, available on custom Plans (please contact us for a quick quote).
Further SSD based storage will be rolled out across our Virtualisation Hosting Platforms and POPs (Sydney & Canberra currently, other cities soon) during 2012 and earlier should demand require it.
