OpenStack Cloud Cluster in test & will be deployed soon

In addition to updates to our Eucalyptus based Cloud Hosting capabilities, we’ve now got an OpenStack Cluster deployment moving out of Test and into Production status within our network soon in September.

Our first OpenStack platform and cluster node will be online in our main Sydney POP and others will then come online in Canberra as well.

Please standby for products and services based on OpenStack by Network Presence and please contact us if you have any interest in a fully functional, fast and supported OpenStack cloud deployment and operations capability in Sydney on Australia’s best networks.

Free cPanel DNSONLY VPS in Canberra or USA for current VPS customers

Given some recent events with GoDaddy‘s infrastructure and building on an establishing VPS Plan we have for cPanel DNSONLY VPS, we extend an offer to existing Network Presence customers to provision a cPanel DNSONLY VPS.

All you need be is a Network Presence VPS customer and we can provision this cPanel DNSONLY VPS for you upon your request, and hand it over to you (with us available as you need) for you to run as your DNS servers.

Though this is cPanel’s DNSONLY install on a VPS, you do get full WHM DNSONLY web access and this cPanel DNSONLY software is easily configured to create a “DNS Cluster” with any existing full WHM/cPanel install. eg: our Network Presence Managed cPanel VPS Plan.

Finally, these VPS can be deployed at our US POP if you require and please contact us for more information on this offer to Network Presence VPS customers.

Eucalyptus Cloud Server coming online in Canberra

We’ve run Eucalyptus Cloud servers for years and we’ve recently upgraded our Eucalyptus Cloud VPS platform and offering to customers.

Being able to import images from Amazon and their EC platforms means that you can move to your own private cloud servers at Network Presence quickly and without image (your ‘filesystem’ or data) conversion. As a Network Presence customer though, you have us available to assist you with any migration to our services and we’re available after then for any needs you may have running on our platforms.

The first of these new production Eucalyptus servers is coming online in Canberra this month and in Sydney in October and please contact us if you have any queries about using our Eucalyptus platforms and how to use them for on-demand computing.
