Consider Zimbra wrt “Microsoft Exchange in the Cloud” Mail Servers

We’ve done a few Zimbra Community (open-source) Mail Server installs recently, and in combination with their Microsoft Exchange Migration Wizards tools, we’re finding that this low cost but fully functional Mail Server can save customers the licensing costs of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Server itself, without significant change in mail functionality.

We’ve happy to install Zimbra Community Edition to any new VPS Order, as it does need to (pretty much) ‘consume’ a VPS and needs something like our “Value #2” VPS with our Upgrades to get to 2GB RAM and fast disk Xen VPS for your Mail Server.

NTP Servers

For some time we’ve been running internally (and see below for a public) NTP servers, and just quickly here’s their details:

Internal NTP Server for customers of Network Presence and EveryNet, located in our Sydney POP: ntp.networkpresence.com.au

Public and ‘remote’ NTP Server, located at our Continental USA POP: ntp.netpr.es

Of course, we also recommend the long-term Internet community maintained NTP server hostname of: au.pool.ntp.org

Please feel free to contact us if you’d like assistance configuring your server or desktop to use any of the above Network Time Protocol servers.
