Can you market & sell Internet Infrastructure and Web Services?

We’ve achieved all our targets and objectives that Network Presence had in 2011 and 2012 is off to a great start.

Accordingly, we’re looking for someone to work with Network Presence to market our services and deliver a good sales pipeline to populate and feed our significant Internet Infrastructure and capabilities.

We’ve got business, operations, growth, strategy etc all ‘down pat’ and proven working over at least the last 2 years, so we’re looking for a “people person” who can find new sales for our growing suite of IT&C products and services, as well as keep our rapidly growing & diverse existing customer base “more than happy”, by building relationships with them and up-selling their plans and services.

Remuneration is open for discussion, but initially will be by significant % (over 100%) of forward sales volumes and your work location will be your ‘Home Office’, with costs and equipment provided by Network Presence.

Who are we looking for?

– You’re an experienced Salesperson or Sales Manager or Executive, who wants to carve out a future in the coalface of Australian or emerging Asian Internet Infrastructure (Hosting), Connectivity (Internet access across Australasia, including retail broadband as provided by EveryNet) and Professional Services.
– You may be looking to “get a part of the action” and we’re open to discussing Management/Exec. level roles, but in general you’re excited about the NBN, selling Internet Products & Services, and you’re self-motivated to the point of being able to work from your own ‘home base’, with travel as required.
– You may be young or old, we’re all in our 40s and we can work with all ages and generations, your experience and capabilities are what we’re looking for.
– You can do without a Retainer/Salary for a few months and you thrive on the challenge of being able to get “the big bucks” through sales volume based remuneration.
– You do though know and use Social Media, preferably already (given your experience) in a commercial context.
– We’re based in Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney and the NSW south coast in Australia, so if you’re located in those cities and regions, then that would probably be best, but experienced tele-workers should also apply and we’re very experienced in managing tele-working/tele-commuting workplaces.
– You need to have excellent english language skills, written, online and verbal, particularly in the business context of communications.

Should you be interested, then please contact us via email to jobs < AT > networkpresence.com.au or our online and phone contacts as per our website.

Thankyou,
Richard.

More, Bigger and Faster VPS Platforms online

Our Upgrade Works in early February 2012 were successful in bringing online a number of new VPS Hosting Servers now for Network Presence and this extends our VPS hosting capabilities, being able to offer higher performance with specialisations for our larger VPS Plans eg: our High Power VPS Plans now have access to ‘fast and wide’ CPUs (3Ghz cores with large L2 caches), which are their specialisation. And our large Storage Plans have faster and larger disk arrays, being their specialisation and we have server platforms that are specifically setup for fast memory I/O, etc.

For us this means we can deliver more “bang per buck” for customers that purchase our VPS Plans that are tailored for a particular online computing resource or platform, like our High Power VPS Plans, which have faster & more CPU cores than other plans.

Of course, we’ve also put online more of our General Purpose Hosting Platforms, so there’s still great value for money to be had from our entry-level or specifically low-cost VPS Plans.

Free MariaDB Upgrades on customer VPS

As I’ve mentioned, I found the FLOSS (Free Libre Open Source Software) Weekly podcast from December 2011 about ‘MySQL and MariaDB’ very interesting.

We’ve been using MariaDB internally and for some customers for over a year now and if any Network Presence customers would like their existing MySQL installation upgraded to MariaDB (which is fully MySQL protocol compatible and can be a “drop in alongside” upgrade), then we’re happy to perform that software server upgrade on your Network Presence VPS, with specific backups and at a time that suits you and without charge to the Network Presence customer for this Database Server upgrade.

Please contact us if you’re interested in this offer, regards,
Richard.
