{"id":3468,"date":"2013-05-12T03:23:47","date_gmt":"2013-05-12T10:23:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.networkpresence.co\/?p=3468"},"modified":"2013-05-12T03:23:47","modified_gmt":"2013-05-12T10:23:47","slug":"data-centre-pop-maintenance-notice-from-6pm-tues-may-14th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.networkpresence.co\/?p=3468","title":{"rendered":"Data Centre &#038; POP Maintenance Notice \u2013 from 6pm, Tues, May 14th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While we aim to keep visits to a minimum at the \u201cLights Out Mode\u201d main data centre POP of Network Presence in Sydney, our platform upgrades on Friday May 10th didn&#8217;t go to plan and there&#8217;s further platform upgrades which are being bought forward to get these long-planned hosting server platform upgrades done quickly now.<\/p>\n<p>So we&#8217;ll be deploying hardware and software upgrades to our Sydney POP during the evening of Tuesday, May 14th and this work requires us to physically attend the Data Centre (Equinix in Sydney) to perform actions which are highly technical &#038; specific to the hardware and systems of Network Presence which will increase our service levels and capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>This grows on from our earlier upgrades in Feb 2013 and provides updates to our servers, including memory, CPU &#038; network upgrades for a number of our current VPS Hosting Platforms.
