We keep visits to a minimum at the \u201cLights Out Mode\u201d main data centre POP of Network Presence in Sydney, but we want to deploy hardware and software upgrades to this main POP and this work requires us to physically attend the Data Centre (Equinix in Sydney) to perform actions which are highly technical & specific to the hardware and systems of Network Presence which will increase our service levels and capabilities.<\/p>\n
This grows on from our earlier upgrades in Feb 2013 and provides updates to our servers, including memory, CPU & network upgrades for a number of our current VPS Hosting Platforms. For example, we\u2019ll be updating at least two (2) of Network Presence’ main VPS Hosting Platforms this evening.<\/p>\n
Accordingly, I\u2019ll be emailing all customers who may be affected by the restarts and downtimes that will occur during this Maintenance Window, which starts from ~6pm Sydney time on the evening of Friday May 10th, 2013 and I\u2019ll be contactable by phone & online during and after these works incase there\u2019s any issues that arise.<\/p>\n
All works that evening will be completed by 4-5am on Saturday, May 11th 2013 Sydney\/Australia time.<\/p>\n
