{"id":2517,"date":"2012-11-23T14:58:36","date_gmt":"2012-11-23T21:58:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.networkpresence.co\/?p=2517"},"modified":"2012-11-23T14:58:36","modified_gmt":"2012-11-23T21:58:36","slug":"installing-ioncube-to-your-cpanel-php-apache-webserver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.networkpresence.co\/?p=2517","title":{"rendered":"Installing IonCube to your cPanel PHP Apache webserver"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ioncube.com\/\">IonCube<\/a> is a commonly used PHP &#8220;Loader&#8221; open-source software that provides a stable known PHP environment for your PHP based websites.<\/p>\n<p>IonCube install requires a config update and a rebuild of your cPanel Apache web server software and is started by entering the &#8216;EasyApache (Apache Update)&#8217; pages from the &#8216;WHM Home&#8217; -> &#8216;Software&#8217; link.<\/p>\n<p>At the first page you can usually just click the &#8220;Start Customising based on profile&#8221; button (at the bottom of that page) and progress through your Easy:Apache pages until you get to Step 4, the &#8216;4. Short Options List&#8217; page and tick and select the &#8216;IonCube Loader for PHP&#8217; button, then click the &#8216;Save and Build&#8217; button at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n<p>This build process takes a while and please be sure that your browser stays running until it finishes, but once that rebuild is done, you can enable IonCube via logging into your WHM site as root, select the \u2018Server Configuration\u2019 menu and the \u2018Tweak Settings\u2019 page, then click the \u2018PHP\u2019 tab and at the bottom, select \u2018ioncube\u2019 as the \u201ccPanel PHP loader\u201d and click the \u2018Save\u2019 button there.<\/p>\n<p>FYI and regards,<br \/>\nRichard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IonCube is a commonly used PHP &#8220;Loader&#8221; open-source software that provides a stable known PHP environment for your PHP based websites.
