product, which provides an iPhone\/iPad compatible IPSEC VPN service that gives Internet access through the VPN. ie: A fully encrypted Virtual Private Network, from your iPhone or iPad through to our Internet VPN Gateway in the mid-west of America (USA).<\/p>\n<p>This post provides some text-based information on how to get the relevant configuration &#038; files (Certificates &#038; Keys for IPSEC) and we&#8217;ll add to this with screen captures soon &#038; post more information as needed to help customers get their Network Presence IPSEC Internet VPN service going.<\/p>\n<p>Information is presented below on how to load the VPN config &#038; files is based on using the &#8216;iPhone Configuration Utility&#8217; from Apple on your PC or Mac.<\/p>\n<p>1) Install &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/support\/iphone\/enterprise\">iPhone Configuration Utility<\/a>&#8216;  from http:\/\/www.apple.com\/support\/iphone\/enterprise\/<\/p>\n<p>2) Create the Config Profile for the VPN:<br \/>\nNote: YOURUSER in the following is your VPN Username, which we provide to you.<br \/>\na) Click &#8220;Configuration Profiles&#8221; &#038; the &#8216;New&#8217; icon to create a config profile<br \/>\nb) In the profile&#8217;s Identity fields in its General section, name the profile whatever you want (eg: US VPN 1) and give it an Identifier that&#8217;s unique to your phone (eg: YOURUSER.vpn1&#8230;)<br \/>\nc) Click on the Credentials section of this new profile &#038; click &#8216;Configure&#8217; to start to add your Keys\/Cert files, first add the &#8220;ca.crt&#8221; file, then click the &#8216;+&#8217; in the Credentials main pane &#038; add the &#8220;vpn1*.key&#8221; file &#038; hit &#8216;+&#8217; again &#038; add your &#8216;YOURUSER.p12&#8217; file, all in that order (so that it can find the CA for the Server Key &#038; your Key).<br \/>\nd) Click on the VPN section of this new profile &#038; click &#8216;Configure&#8217; to start to add your VPN settings, Connection name is &#8220;vpn1&#8230;.&#8221;, and the Server name is provided (along with req&#8217;d passwords), Connection Type is &#8220;IPSEC (Cisco)&#8221;, Account is &#8220;YOURUSER&#8221;, Machine Authentication is &#8220;Certificate&#8221; &#038; select your &#8220;YOURUSER.p12&#8221; Key in the &#8216;Credential for authenticating the connection&#8217; drop-down (that&#8217;s why you need to add the Credentials first).<\/p>\n<p>3) Then, with the Configuration Profile done as above, click on your iPhone in the &#8220;Devices&#8221; section of iPhone Configuration Utilitiy&#8217;s left pane &#038; click the &#8220;Configuration Profiles&#8221; therein and with your iPhone connected to your Mac or PC (by USB cable) hit the &#8220;install&#8221; button for your named Config Profile on your desktop (Mac or PC connected to the iOS device).<\/p>\n<p>Your iPhone\/iPad will come live &#038; ask you to Install the Profile &#038; you&#8217;ll then be prompted by your iOS device for the password for your .p12 Key (which we provide for you) &#038; the profile should successfully load into your iPhone or iPad, adding a VPN connection in your Settings -> Network -> VPN.<\/p>\n<p>Slide the VPN &#8216;on&#8217; &#038; all going well, you&#8217;ll be prompted for the &#8216;YOURUSER&#8217; user&#8217;s password on the VPN server, which again we provide for you after signup &#038; payment for the monthly <a href=\"http:\/\/netpr.es\/iosusvpn\">US IPSEC VPN Plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Should you have trouble getting your VPN connected, we are <a href=\"http:\/\/netpr.es\/contactus\">available to assist<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today we released our &#8220;iOS IPSEC VPN in the US&#8221;
